SWAP

SWAP: School to Work Alliance ProgramWhat is SWAP?

SWAP stands for the School to Work Alliance Program.  We work with youth who have graduated or seniors who will be exiting Aurora Public Schools.  Our goal is to prepare youth for the workforce by assisting them with:

  • Assessments
  • Applications
  • Resumes
  • Interviewing
  • Job searching/coaching/retention

This is a free program to those who qualify per an IEP or 504.  Students will need to have a state ID, Social Security Number and a documented barrier to employment.  This documentation could be an IEP or 504 Plan.

Please contact Becky McDermott, SWAP Coordinator, for further information.
